Just a little note here, The Brothers Grimm didn’t write the stories. They traveled all around Europe in 1812 listening to the stories (because the stories were mostly verbal at the time) and picked their favorite versions and added the stories to their collection. They are often credited with these stories though because their collection of over 100 fairy tales and folklore was one of the first.
